I am the Director of Project Advocacy at NumFOCUS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the US.  In this role, I am the main point of contact for our 60+ open source projects that are focused primarily on data, research and scientific computing.  I connect daily to help our projects attain financial sustainability, build community and adhere to open source best practices around governance, project management, infrastructure and security.
